We all want to be healthy and happy, and yet we’re facing a global health crisis. Diabetes, autoimmune disease, obesity, tumours, high blood pressure, behavioural disorders, depression, anxiety, chronic sistemic inflammation – you name it, it’s all on the rise.
Through Paleomantic, I hope to spread the message that most of our current (dis)ease is caused by our contemporary diet and lifestyle.
How we are living now has nothing to do with how we evolved. Which means the strategy for reclaiming our health and happiness is to turn back the clock: we need to eat and live like the Ancestors, but with a 21st century twist.
We saw incredible results when we took the plunge and committed to the Paleo Diet for 30 days. So much so that we’ve transformed our eating habits, our exercise routine, and our sleep patterns. We’ve lost weight, stabilised our health issues, and made choices to de-stress our lives. You can read all about our Paleo journey in this landmark post, Paleo Diet Health: Our Stories, 2 Years On.
I started Paleomantic because I want to help you live a happier and healthier life through the Paleo Diet and Lifestyle.
Paleo isn’t about being obsessive or rigid. It’s not about rules. It’s about committing to a plan for long enough to feel the difference, and then making informed decisions about how to proceed.
It’s also not about Cross Fit Training and lifting weights, although it can be, if you want to it to be it. My form of Paleo includes walking in nature, yoga and meditation, creativity and every now and again having A Day on My Own. Paleo is about finding the health and lifestyle model which fits you best, and I’m here to help you do just that.
